Here at Cos Cob School, we know that many of you are very eager to have your children bring their iPads home. We are, too, but we need to make sure that all technological safeguards, including digital citizenship lessons, are in place before the devices go home. Therefore, IPADS cannot go home until all setups are complete. We will keep you updated on this. Thank you for your patience as we roll out iPads for all! The time has finally come, and in a few short hours, the halls, courtyard, gym, stage, and school grounds will be transformed into a spooky Fall Festival. The students (and I have to admit, the entire staff) have anxiously been awaiting the fun! Please be assured that while it has a spooky underlying theme, there are activities, games, and sights for students of all ages. I hope I will see many of you this evening and know that your families will have a great time. Thank you to Tabatha Santanna, Sarah Jane Hedbabny, Deb Jezierski, and the many volunteers for making this what promises to be a “night to remember”! Have a great weekend. 2:15 p.m. Students will be parading around the school perimeter giving parents and friends an opportunity to take pictures. Children participating should bring his/her costume to school in a separate bag. Weapons of any kind or items that could pose harm to others are NOT permitted. Children may NOT wear costumes that include masks, “scary,” or violent elements. Tonight the Great Pumpkin will rise out of the pumpkin patch.
