Superior quality, manufactured to exacting standards under ISO-9002, and tested to ANSI/UL standards. Bar
coded labels for documenting extinguisher locations, inspections and maintenance. Item 240 uses Water as the
fire fighting agent in a stainless steel, stored-pressure extinguisher with dent-protecting black plastic boot. The
cooling, soaking and penetrating 45-55 ft. stream and 50-seconds discharge time makes it very effective for
inexperienced operators for use on Class A fires.
FFFP Foam adds Class B fire fighting capability to the Class A effectiveness of the Item 253 stainless steel extinguisher with blue dent-protecting boot. The alcohol-resistant fire fighting agent is effective in fires with a wide
variety of Class B materials such as alcohols, polar solvents, hydrocarbons, and combinations such as gasohol.
Applied to a non-ignited Class B spill, it will seal the surface and minimize the chance of a serious fire. This is
also available in 33-gal wheeled or stationary unit.
