2016 ORIENTATION SCHEDULE
Welcome to The Clarkson School! This schedule is provided for incoming Clarkson School students to supplement
the First Year Student Orientation schedule which begins on Friday, August 26. Any changes to The Clarkson
School Orientation schedule will be communicated to students through their Clarkson email and daily updates at
Orientation. All Mandatory Orientation events are in bold. While most Orientation events are mandatory,
some programs are optional or are only for specific student populations.
Before Arriving on Campus on Tuesday, August 23
 All items on your PeopleSoft “To Do” List must be completed in order for you to be cleared to move in.
 Ø – If you see this symbol in PeopleSoft, it means that you have a hold on your account. This could be a
financial hold or a health records hold. Clicking on ø will provide you with more information.
 Contact the Office of Information Technology (OIT) (315-268-4357) with questions or concerns about
computer set-up in your room. Newell & Ormsby are equipped with WiFi.
 Submit a photo for your Student ID and pre-register your vehicle online in PeopleSoft.

You will receive your room key and Orientation materials. You’ll have the
remainder of your morning to move in. Coffee and refreshments available.
Questions regarding class schedules, advanced placement, and transfer credit
can be addressed with Brenda Kozsan, Associate Head of School, in the Price
Hall Clarkson School office. She will be available in the office on a walk-in
basis from 8:30am-11:30am.

clothing for physical activity, reusable water bottle, alarm clock/phone for alarm, swimsuit, sunscreen,
cards/board games. Please note that there is no cell phone service at Camp Oswegatchie (let your
family/friends know so they don’t worry about you if they can’t reach you!).
