Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim expresses his condolences to the leader of the Islamic Revolution in the Islamic
Republic of Iran and the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the victims of the floods that swept
through Iran
Head of the National Iraqi Alliance, Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, conveyed his condolences to the Leader of
the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Sheikh
Hassan Rowhani for the victims of recent floods in Iran which resulted in a number of casualties and
property damages.\r\nHis eminence expressed his confidence in the capacity of the Iranian people and
their wise leadership to overcome the crisis caused by floods, supplicating Almighty Allah to be merciful
to the victims and to inspire their families patience and solace.\r\nThe following is the text of the two
cables of condolences:\r\nSupreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution \r\nYour eminence Ayatollah Imam
Ali al-Khamenei (long live)\r\n \r\nPeace, mercy and blessings of God\r\nWe deeply regret learning of the
floods incident that swept through some areas in the Islamic Republic. We are deeply saddened by the
painful incident yet we believe the Iranian Muslim people with its team spirit is capable of overcoming it,

and we can not but share your highness our sincere condolences and to the honorable people of Iran a
heartfelt of condolences and sincere sympathies for the victims and the property damages resulting from
it, may Almighty Allah prolong your life with constant help and support. We also ask Allah Allah to be
merciful to the victims and to inspire their families patience and solace and to grant the wounded recovery

We are following the news arriving from there. We are saddened by the human losses and material
damages caused by this incident. We are confident of the capabilities and capacities of the Iranian
government and the Muslim Iranian people to overcome this ordeal and reconstruct the affected areas. We
share with you and the brotherly Iranian and Muslim people feelings of pain and sorrow, and we express
our solidarity and cooperation with the afflicted by the incident, especially the families of the victims and
