Does Camp Happen If…
It rains? There is thunder and lightning?
The temperature reaches above 100
degrees?
YES IT DOES!
When the weather brings rain, thunder, or
lightning, we have a rainy day schedule.
All activities will be brought to the kids
under their unit pavilions. When we hear
thunder, children can not swim for at least
a 1/2 hour after the last rumble. If storms
stop, camp continues to run on its regular
schedule.
Please be sure your child comes prepared
with appropriate clothing:
Sweatshirts, change of clothes, rain
jackets, etc.
If temperatures reach over 100 degrees
we are sure that all the children stay
hydrated throughout the camp day. Water
bottles are carried around during
activities, water activities are planned,
and we are sure to place water stations
throughout the camp as well. Children will
be kept out of the sun as much as
possible.
