You will be creating a story cube based on your reading of Tom Sawyer. You will need to create 6 "panels" of
information as described below. Each panel should be a square 3 %" on a side. You may type the information
in an 8 - 10 point font or write it neatly by hand. Be sure to put a title on each of your panels and decorate
them appropriately

Most Important .Scene - Sketch and describe the most important scene in your opinion
Twain Sketch - Draw AND describe Mark Twain's life and career
Character Sketch -- Draw AND describe Tom, Huck, Injun Joe, or Aunt Polly
Theme - In a brief essay, discuss the importance of one of the following themes in the novel:
Love, Imagination, Revenge, Adventure, Friendship, or a theme of your own choosing
Lessons - If you could pick the most important lesson from this book, what would it be?

Once you have all 6 panels completed, you will cut the cube layout from a piece of construction paper as shown
below. Each of the base squares should be 4" on a side so that the panels can easily be glued or taped in place.
Once all of the panels are attached, you can fold the cube together and tape it up. DO NOT ASSEMBLE THE
CUBE UNTIL ALL PANELS ARE ATTACHED.
