We invite you to be a part of the program - “I AM GANDHI”. A program that
is designed to enlighten the young generation about Bapu and connect
them with his teachings.
How do we do this?
• By taking the students through an interactive experience at BapuGhat, Langar
Houz Hyderabad. A place where Gandhi’s ashes were immersed on 12th
February 1948
• Getting face to face with the world’s longest wall on Gandhi showcasing some
of the rarest moments of Gandhi’s life which the world has never seen
• Exposing everyone to A special show on Mahatma Gandhi in the
21st century and how he is invoked by the most powerful even today
• Presenting the state of the art digital zone on Gandhi where one can view
the transformation of Mohandas to the Mahatma in pictures, read letters
handwritten by him on an I Pad, learn interesting facts about Gandhi, take
an interactive media quiz and even hear the voice of the great one via touch
interfaces
• Sensitizing students to the Mahatma’s concept of healthy living by
exploring a vegetarian lunch to provide a delicious satwik food experience
• Viewing of the Ahimsa Harley and the rare original 16mm projector print of
the 1950’s film by 20th Century Fox commentary by Walter Cronkite - “The
Triumph and Tragedy of Gandhi”
• Concluding the trip with the perfect souvenir- an exclusive special student
edition book - “Peace, Truth and Ahimsa”, a photo-biography of Mohandas
Karamchand Gandhi. A special Edition of this book was released at the UN to
mark the International Day of Non-violence
