Course
Ana Tolvai | Drawing for All: Drawing is first and foremost about learning to see and perceive,
rather than only look. This course aims to help you to learn to do this through focusing on the
techniques of observation. Furthermore, this course gives you the necessary guidelines, techniques
and a good basic knowledge to establish your ability to draw.
The course is suitable for both beginners, who will start by observing of simpler objects, to advanced
levels, who will tackle increasingly more complex subjects. Different drawing techniques will be
explored, including pen, pencil, and charcoal, in order to achieve a variety of results.
Ana Tolvai – Ana started studying art from the earliest age, under the influence of her mother who
was a drawing and painting teacher. She was already well versed in various drawing and painting
techniques and mediums when she went to study at the Bucharest Art University.
Some of Ana’s many accomplishments include first prize for a 1992 jazz festival poster in Bucharest,
and the Swedish toy project competition award 1998. Ana has since supervised, coordinated and
designed large scale indoor and outdoor projects and murals in UAE, Qatar and Romania, as well as
worked on illustrations for children and in advertising.
Ana has great passion for teaching art, and the desire to help everyone learn and improve,
regardless of their age, background, or education.
