celebrate
the
iconic
photographer's
(who
was
just
featured
in
the
shoe
company's
Born
in
1928
campaign),
Elliott
Erwitt's
Kolor.
The
two
companies
feted
the
release
with
a
book
signing
at
Cole
Haan's
Columbus
Circle
shop
in
New
York
City,
which
was
catered
by
acclaimed
restaurant
Per
Se
while
Brendan
Fallis
provided
the
sonic
ambience.
Elliott
Erwitt's
Kolor
is
Erwitt's
first
book
of
color
photography,
and
is
a
tribute
to
George
Eastman
of
Kodak
and
his
legacy.
The
images
in
the
book
date
back
as
far
as
the
1950s
and
feature
iconic
photographs
like
Marilyn
Monroe
standing
over
the
subway
grate,
and
John
F.
Kennedy
in
the
Oval
Office.
Ever
the
style
icon
as
well,
Elliot
Erwitt
showed
up
in
a
great
check
blazer,
a
bright
shirt
and
tie,
and
finished
off
his
rig
in
a
pair
of
Cole
Haan
Great
Jones
