It has been a truly memorable week in Dosbarth Pedwar!
Monday saw our first class trip of the year to the Roman
Legionnaire Museum in Caerleon. We visited the baths, the
damp ampitheatre and the museum in the morning, with
the afternoon consisting of trying on roman armour in a
replica barracks room, and experiencing life as a roman
child (only boys went to school! - to the delight of some and
the consternation of others). As we left Caerleon we
thought the excitement was over, however it was only just

Dosbarth Pedwar
…battled through the floods, only managing to reach school
as darkness fell. Can I firstly commend the children for their
patience and calmness, while also thanking the parents for
their understanding and help in getting the children home.
In science we tested whether materials were conductors or
insulators using our new found knowledge of circuits. We
did find one non-metallic material that conducted electricity
(see if your child remembers!)
On Friday the Advent service was led by our Year 4s - well
done to all involved.
