this year, but we gave it a good try! For next year,
we will continue the same theme of the Box-Top-Oly
board, with the ultimate prize being an End of the
Year Dunk Tank!! So continue to collect those box
tops throughout the summer. We will begin the
school year with a CLASSROOM box top

GOSPEL, from John…
In this weekend’s gospel Jesus says, “If
you love me, you will keep my
commandments. And I will ask the
Father, and he will give you another
Advocate to be with you always, the
Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot
accept, because it neither sees nor
knows him. But you know him, because
he remains with you, and will be in you.
The advocacy of the Holy Spirit is a
special gift that Jesus shares with us.
Although many people today struggle
with overemphasis on material wealth
and are sidetracked by electronic
distractions, keeping the
Commandments is the key to staying
with and in God.
The end of the year, School Picnic and Field Day will be
on Thursday, June 8th. The picnic will begin at 11:45
and the field day activities will start at 12:40. All
events will take place at AACS. Families are welcome to
join their children for lunch. If the weather permits,
bring a blanket, for outside0 eating.
On June 9th, there will be a 12:10 dismissal, due to the
loud church bells. At dismissal, K-4 will line up in the
church hall to say goodbye to the 5th grade class with
the “Saginaw Blessing”. All 5th grade parents are
welcome to join us. There will be bubbles to blow in
the air, as the 5th graders exit the building.
