Given the delicate care that this type of shipments require, it is absolutely
necessary that a qualified caretaker accompanies the equine.
Arrangements for the transportation of the Animal Handlers must be made in

contact our Sales Executives to get information regarding this process.
The Animal Handler must have the following documents:

TRANSPORTATION REQUISITES
In order to guarantee the well-being and comfort of the animal during its
transportation, the shipper must comply with several basic principles.
Following are some recommendations that the shipper or freight forwarder
must keep in mind when shipping equine:
• Before receiving the animals, the shipper must corroborate with the different
countries (origin, destination and transit) all the legal requisites and certifications
related to sanitation and the well-being of the animals.
• In order to allow immunity to develop, vaccinations must be applied in advance.
• The shipper must coordinate the pertinent food arrangements, if it is necessary to
feed the animal while in transit.
• The shipper is responsible to ensure the proper documentation, and correct
packaging of the shipment.
