In our Geography lessons this half term we will learn to: Name the countries within the United Kingdom. Begin to name their capital cities. Name Europe as one of the seven continents. Locate Europe Asia, Australia, Africa, North America, South America and Antarctica on a map. Begin to name some of the seas surrounding Europe, Asia, Australia, Africa, North America, South America and Antarctica. Describe some of the features and characteristics of China. Discuss some of Australia's features and characteristics. Discuss some of Africa's features and characteristics. Discuss some of North America’s features and characteristics. In our PSHE lessons this half term we will be learning: To recognise and celebrate some of our strengths, emotions, gifts and talents. To practise some skills of a good communicator, including listening skills, taking turns and explaining. To be aware of how my skills and strengths can be useful in a group. To apply communication skills in a real situation. To be able to state some of the things we did well in a group task and some of the things they would like to do better next time.
