Heart Chart
The Grinch is loosely based on the classic character, Ebenezer Scrooge. In
both the picture book and novel the main characters are DYNAMIC. They start
with a negative, grumpy outlook and slowly adjust their attitudes becoming more
pleasant and generous.
On a sheet of loose leaf, lined paper, you will list each time Scrooge shows
any positive change or remorse for past choices. This could be shown through
his own and others’ actions, thoughts, and statements. You must include the
page number supporting your claim. 5 –10 examples should be listed. Include a
proper heading, use descriptive (adverbs and adjectives) words, and be specific.
