Grant Making Process
Receive applications for funding
Organizations applying must be a 501c3 and must
provide breast health education, screening or
treatment programs for our 13-county service area.

Independent review panel determines
program investments
Local community members review each application
and determine which programs should be funded
based on their ability to impact priority areas defined
in our Community Profile Report.
Funded programs provide progress reports
Programs that receive funding from Komen North
Texas must provide mid-year and end-of-year reports
to Komen North Texas with evidence that the
organization has successfully executed their approved
programs. Programs are not guaranteed funding from
year-to-year and must reapply each year.

in the counties we serve which results in a Community Profile
report. This report identifies priority areas so we can ensure
the medically underserved men and women in our population
can receive the breast health services they need.

partners to raise desperately needed funds in the fight against

North Texas in order to provide low-cost breast health services to the
medically underserved women and men in the North Texas service area.
Services provided are based on your county of residence and the eligibility
requirements of the grantees. All grantees offer bilingual services. Please
call the grantees directly for more information.

or symptoms of breast cancer.
Includes surgery, radiation,
chemotherapy, prescriptions
and other medical services after
breast cancer is diagnosed.
All recipients of breast
health services from the above
organizations are provided
breast health education and
support services like counseling
and patient navigation.
