TYPICAL DOUBLE ROOM
When you arrive, a double room will look as pictured above. We
encourage student to decorate and make their room their home.
Many students create a nice living area under the lofts. Please keep
wall damage to a minimum by thinking ahead with 3M hanging
hooks and strips. Velcro is an amazing tool.
TYPICAL CLOSET AREA
Many students worry if they will have enough storage. Most rooms
have a large closet or two. Some students share the closets while
others chose to use as individuals. Regardless, you’ll want to consider storage options to make the most of your closet space.
COMMUNITY LOUNGES
FLOOR LOUNGE
Between each of the floor sections are lounges. These are great
places to study or hang out. It’s not unusual to see a large project stretched out on one of the tables.
BILLIARDS AREA
In the basement, a number of recreation games
and tables are available for residents use. The options may include billiards, ping pong or foostball.
FLOOR KITCHEN
Wigen Hall has a floor kitchen as part of the lounge on each floor. This feature
makes homemade cookies or even an entire meal so convenient. It’s a great
place to gather while warming up a pizza for late night snacks, too.
LOBBY / COMMUNITY PRINTING AREA
Wigen Hall’s lobby offers a handy place to wait
for a ride or greet visitors. The space is directly off
of the front desk where you can check-out board
games, DVDs or other helpful equipment. Plus,
you can pick up your mail here too.
COMMUNITY LAUNDRY
Washers and dryers are available for use by all
residents. These services are paid via the account
attached to your ID. Plus, the campus app lets you
know if the machines are open!
