An open air museum with livestock. Located near
Heddal Stave Church with a collection of typical, old
buildings from the district. Admire beautiful

Western-Telemark Museum Eidsborg tradition
and history

museum in 2012. Eidsborg Stave Church from 1250 is
located next to the museum.

The Norwegian Ski Museum in the charming village of
Morgedal, houses a multimedia journey through the
history of skiing, paying special attention to the
skiing revolution which developed from Morgedal in
the 1850s.

- one of the best preserved towns in Norway from the
sailing ship era with narrow streets, small shops and

In the footsteps of world famous painter Edvard
Munch, in Kragerø
- where he lived from 1909 until 1915, known
especially for “The Scream”. Many of his famous
works were painted here. See copies of his paintings
exactly where he made them.
The island of Jomfruland outside Kragerø
- a small elongated island with two white lighthouses.

In springtime you can admire a marvelous flowering
of wood anemone.
