Mikvah Hours:
Keilim Mikvah is open during daylight hours.
*Fri night: 40 min after candlelighting. No
appointment needed, but please be on time.
*Saturday night: 9:00-10:30pm.
*Sunday-Thursday: 8:30-10:00pm
Reminder: We currently have only two shower
preparation rooms available. Please prepare at home
as much as possible. There is limited parking in the

Selichot Season
Please see the schedule on page 2 for a full listing of
selichot times.
Please also note that during the weeks we recite selichot:

The 7:45 AM minyan will meet in the Hashkama
room.

There will be late Sat. night selichot at 12:45 AM this
week (BM)

This Sunday, the 5:45 AM selichot and the 8:00 AM
selichot will meet in the Hashkama Room, the 6:30
AM selichot will meet in the Beit Midrash and the
7:30 AM selichot will meet in the Main Sanctuary

There will be a 10 PM Ma’ariv followed by Selichot

The 9:30 Ma’ariv minyan will not meet.

Yom Kippur Scholar-in-Residence
This Yom Kippur, we welcome Rabbi Dr. Jacob
J. Schacter. Rabbi Schacter is the Senior Scholar
at Yeshiva University’s Center for the Jewish
Future, University Professor of Jewish History
& Jewish Thought and an Adjunct Instructor in
Jewish Studies. Rabbi Schacter is a renowned
speaker and Talmid Chacham; we are certain
he will have a meaningful impact on our Yom
Kippur experience. Rabbi Schacter will speak
in both the Main Sanctuary and Social Hall
minyanim.

We are thrilled to welcome Rabbi Kenneth Brander and his family for Yom Tov of
Sukkot and Shemini Atzeret/Simchat Torah! Rabbi Brander is Yeshiva University's
Vice President for University and Community Life. He also served as the inaugural
Dean of YU's Center for the Jewish Future. Rabbi Brander has authored many
articles in areas of Jewish law and philosophy in various scholarly journals and
served as Editor, The Yeshiva University Haggadah (Ktav: New York, 1985). He
delivers popular lectures in various areas of Jewish thought and jurisprudence and
has spoken in communities throughout North America, United Kingdom, South
Africa, Australia & Israel.
