May the Fourth Be with You! Thursday May 4th is a special day for Star Wars
fans. Students are encouraged to wear Star Wars t-shirts. More elaborate
garb, masks and other Star Wars gear may be worn during recess and lunch.

Big Sur Run-by-the-Bay
The 3K Run-by-the-Bay is Saturday, April 29th in Pacific Grove. The race begins
at 8:00 AM and participants are encouraged to arrive by 7:30. Shirts and bibs
have been sent home with the students, along with an information sheet.
Participants should look for Mrs. Gaughf and the Chartwell flag on the grassy
area in the center of the park. Chartwell runs in Wave 4 and we will all start
out together. The awards ceremony begins at 9:15, so anyone who can stick
around after the race, please do.
Sweatshirts Need a Home
There are a significant number of sweatshirts in the Lost and Found so please
look around if you are missing one. A teacher recently turned in a nice
Chartwell sweatshirt with no name in it. It is a Youth Large. Since it’s not
labeled, the only way to determine who it belongs to is to report when and
where it was lost. If you think it is yours, please let Mrs. Gaughf know.

*Participating students must wear their regular uniform with a Star Wars T-shirt instead of their polo. No masks, capes or helmets! No other substitute T-shirts allowed. Non-participating students must wear the regular uniform.
