At Centennial Parklands Equestrian Centre we cater to the
special needs of young families and young horse lovers.
1. What is the duration of a park ride?
45 minutes – 60 minutes (depending on your experience).
Friendly, professional horse trainers lead children on quiet
pony rides through the Parklands, allowing them to explore
the natural beauty of the Parklands and discover wildlife as
they experience the thrill of riding.
2. Is basic gear included in the hourly rate?
Yes, we will provide you with a helmet and boots.
Experience horse riding
in the heart of the city.
3. If I have experience am I able to canter and jump?
Yes, after a thorough assessment by the instructor.
No previous riding experience is necessary.
4. Are there credit card and EFTPOS facilities?
Yes both are available on site.

Parklands riding and lessons
Centennial Parklands Equestrian Centre offers visitors to
Sydney, of all ages and abilities, the opportunity to enjoy
a horse ride within one of the city’s most spectacular and
historic Parklands.
At Centennial Parklands Equestrian Centre you can choose
from five professionally managed riding schools, all of which
offer individual and group horse rides through the Parklands.
Here, just 2 km from the city centre, you can explore
almost 4 km of magnificent tree lined horse tracks,
expansive parklands, beautiful gardens and spectacular
ponds rich in wildlife.
