Top 5 Tips for a Healthy Heart
 Get Active: Performing exercise for 30 minutes each day, enough to elevate your heart rate
a few points, allows you to strengthen the most crucial muscle in your body (your heart )
and manage weight.
 Reduce Stress: Incorporating relaxation techniques, deep breathing and taking a moment to
“let things go that are out of your control”, will help protect your heart from adverse effects
of stress.
 Drink Water: Our blood plasma is about 92% water. Make sure to drink enough water (8
glasses each day, more if you sweat when exercising) to maintain proper blood flow. This will
also protect your arteries, maintain a healthy blood pressure and transport nutrients and
oxygen throughout your body.
 Eat Healthy: 5 servings of fruits and veggies each day, lean meats and fish,
monounsaturated fats and whole grains are the perfect recipe for a healthy heart!
 Choose Joy: Your heart is affected by negativity, storing up hard feelings and not reconciling
relationships. Choose your attitude each day and see how thinking positively will do wonders
for your overall health and mood.
We’re Off to See the Wizard!
On behalf of the Spiritual Life Committee I wish to extend our gratitude and appreciation to all who contributed to the Christmas donation for Lifespring Ministries in Aurora. As one of six operations of the Wayside Cross Ministry, it serves exclusively up to 57 women with children in a residential setting who have been homeless and/or abused. We at GreenFields contributed $825 and some personal care items. Bill Peterson, Committee Member The Ten Commandments, a 5‐Week Bible study series Teacher and Leader: Rev. Over ten generations have grown up loving this classic tale of an enchanted land first as a beloved children's book, then as an iconic Hollywood film. And now the
Fireside is bringing you an exciting stage adaptation of this legendary musical. It’s
all there - good witches, wicked witches, munchkins, a cowardly lion in search of
courage, a tin man in search of a heart, a scarecrow in search of a brain, and a
young girl from Kansas in search of home. It’s a show filled with eye-popping
costumes, rib-tickling humor, breath-taking adventure, and an immortal musical
score including one of the greatest hit songs in musical history - "Over the
Rainbow." Enjoy a complete delicious luncheon before the show featuring Chicken
Oskar topped with asparagus and a gulf shrimp served with orzo and escalloped
tomatoes with pineapple cake with caramel ice cream for dessert. We will stop at
Jones Cheese and Sausage Outlet before the show. Trip includes luncheon, show
and transportation.

Do You Know?
Sneezes regularly exceed 100 mph. There’s a good
reason why you can’t keep your eyes open when you
sneeze – that sneeze is rocking out of your body at
close to 100 mph. this is, of course, a good reason to
cover your mouth when you sneeze.
Coughs clock in at about 60 mph. Viruses and colds
get spread around the room quickly during cold and
flu season. With 60 mph coughs spraying germs far
and wide, it’s no wonder!
