Please find attached the programme for your Munich Conference. Please send the conference
booking form (page 6) to Rosemary Valdinger at the BGJA Administration office and your travel
and accommodation booking form (page 7) to me.
Among the features is a private guided tour on Friday of the BMW factory. BMW were only able
to book us two tours with a maximum capacity of 30 participants on each. Please state on the
booking form your wish to attend. These places will be allocated on a first to book basis.
Unsuccessful applicants will need to make their own way to the factory for 15.45 hrs. U Bahn 3
will take you from Hauptbahnhof to Olympia Zentrum. The Four Cylinder building is 200 m from
the station.
Friday’s conference session is at the BMW factory.

CONFERENCE BOOKING INFORMATION
Conference Fees:
The Conference Fee is £350.00 which covers the cost of attendance at the conference sessions and the
social programme. The social programme includes lunch on Friday at the Maritim Hotel, a tour of the
BMW factory (limited availability so please book early) and dinner at the BMW factory. On Saturday there
will be a guided tour of the Courts of Justice followed by a tour of the city with the theme “Jewish Life in
Munich“, followed by a dinner in the evening at the Hofbräuhaus.
The Accompanying Person’s Fee is £230.00, which includes the social programme as given above.

Bookings for the conference and for the accompanying person’s programme should be made using the
attached Conference Booking Form (page 6 of this document). The completed form and a cheque
(payable to the British-German Jurists’ Association) should be sent to:

Student Subsidy
The Association is again offering two subsidies, available to students (trainee solicitors, pupils or law
students) who may attend the conference and the full social programme at no charge. Transport and
accommodation are the responsibility of the bursary recipients. Applications for a subsidy should be sent

Please Note: The Hon. Chairman’s decision will be final and each recipient is required to produce a short
report of the conference which is to be sent to the Hon. Chairman within two weeks of the conference
taking place.
Cancellation Policy
Please note all conference and accommodation bookings must be received by no later than 4th October,
2013. After that date no refunds will be made in the event of the cancellation of a booking. Prior to this
date, the person cancelling must bear the cost of any disbursements incurred by the Association.
