PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE
Happy Winter!!
I hope everyone is surviving the snow, snow and more snow. I know I am
ready for spring or at least a day about 45 - 50 degrees would be great!
Thank you to all the chairman for completing their reports and getting
them to me in time to write mine. We did many great things this past
year and helped so many people in need. We should all be proud and pat
ourselves on the back. Great job to all club members.
Don’t forget to put April 8th on your calendar - Highland District Achievement Day. We had many entries last year and many winners both at the
district and state level. All entry forms are due to Eileen by March 23rd.
Let’s have another great showing. Any questions will be answered at the
meeting. All members are welcome to attend this annual event.
As the Highlands District Creative Arts Chairman I am in need of two
more people to help set-up and work with the judges on April 8th. Please
contact me if you are interested in volunteering.
Don’t forget to check out NJSFWC on Facebook.
See you all at the meeting with your cookies. Let’s pray for no snow.

FUNDRAISING
Lois Marples
Thank you to all who attended and supported the successful fundraising at the
George Inn on February 12th. In addition to the fundraiser, Kyle had friends who
couldn’t make the fundraiser that donated money to the event. We thank them for
their generous donation.
The next fundraiser will take place on Saturday, March 7, at Sit and Chat Diner
from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. Come have breakfast or lunch and Sit and Chat will donate a percentage of your meal to the club.
Remember, you can still get Tupperware by calling Kathy Spivack at 201-7848992. Thank you to all who attended the Tupperware Party, and thanks to Judy for
hosting. The order has arrived and will be at the meeting on February 26.
BIRTHDAY BAG DONATIONS NEEDED
Our basic supplies for birthday bags is dwindling. We are in need of gift bags (used are
good!), tissue paper, lip balm, small stuffed toys and most of all birthday cards.
Thank you for any donations!!!!

MILITARY COMMITTEE
Lois Marples
Thank you for collecting cell phones. I just put a box in the Stockholm Post Office to
collect phones and accessories.
A big thank you to Barbara for making hats for our soldiers and veterans. There was a
very nice article in Aim Action, Vernon showing pictures of her hats.
If you know anyone in the military, please bring the address and we will send a card.
Jill Rose, an Army nurse, was very happy to receive our card.
