I hope everyone is surviving the snow, snow and more snow. I know I am ready for spring or at least a day about 45 - 50 degrees would be great! Thank you to all the chairman for completing their reports and getting them to me in time to write mine. We did many great things this past year and helped so many people in need. We should all be proud and pat ourselves on the back. Great job to all club members. Don’t forget to put April 8th on your calendar - Highland District Achievement Day. We had many entries last year and many winners both at the district and state level. All entry forms are due to Eileen by March 23rd. Let’s have another great showing. Any questions will be answered at the meeting. All members are welcome to attend this annual event. As the Highlands District Creative Arts Chairman I am in need of two more people to help set-up and work with the judges on April 8th. Please contact me if you are interested in volunteering. Don’t forget to check out NJSFWC on Facebook. See you all at the meeting with your cookies. Let’s pray for no snow. . — Judy COMMUNITY OUTREACH PROGRAM Maureen Blandino At February’s meeting we are assembling bags of cookies for seniors and other groups in the community. We are asking members to each bring in six dozen cookies (no nuts). Thank you for your support! In addition to the fundraiser, Kyle had friends who couldn’t make the fundraiser that donated money to the event. We thank them for their generous donation. The next fundraiser will take place on Saturday, March 7, at Sit and Chat Diner from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. Come have breakfast or lunch and Sit and Chat will donate a percentage of your meal to the club. Remember, you can still get Tupperware by calling Kathy Spivack at 201-7848992.
