We would like to take this opportunity to ask you to consider the Golf Club of
Newport for your next golfing event, large or small. We thank you in advance for
this consideration.
We are very proud of our golfing facility and would like you to enjoy it as well. The
golf course was designed by world renowned golf course architect Geoffrey Cornish
and is located 12.4 miles northeast of Utica and 13.5 miles from Herkimer in a
serene setting overlooking the beautiful Kuyahoora Valley.
Featuring multiple tees, large undulating greens and more than 60 bunkers, the golf
course provides great enjoyment to golfers of all abilities.
The Pete Grygiel Family and staff take great pride in our facility and we are
dedicated to serving our golfers. Our goal is to provide you with the best service
and playing conditions within our means. Every effort will be made to make your
time at the Golf Club of Newport as pleasant as possible, making you eager to
return again soon. Please take time to carefully read though the following, then
complete and return the Golf Contract and Rules Agreement. Without the
completion and return of both the enclosed Golf Contract and Rules Agreement,
along with the Two Hundred Dollar ($200.00) deposit to secure the date, we will be
unable to hold your date and tee times.

Directions
From the west, I-90 to Exit 31, proceed to Route 12 North to Route 8 North. Go 4
Miles and take right onto Steuben Road. Go 1.8 Miles and take left on Strumlock
Road. Take first right onto Honey Hill Road. The golf course is on the right 2.4
miles. Approximately 20 minutes from Exit 31.
From the east, I-90 to Exit 29A, proceed to Route 169 North to Middleville, then to
route 28 North to Newport. Next take a left at the blinking light in Newport to cross
the bridge. Then take the first right, followed by the next left on to Honey Hill Road.
Approximately 25 minutes from Exit 29A.
RULES AGREEMENT
The Golf Club of Newport would like your entire group to be aware of our policies so that embarrassing
situations may be avoided. It is the Chairperson’s responsibility to make sure all participants are aware of our
policies. Again, please take a moment to read through the following. Please sign the agreement, and retain a
copy for your records. The chairperson also needs to ensure a $200.00 deposit is sent to secure the time and
date for your golfing event.
Please make sure that all of your participants are aware of what is included in their outing, as well as our
golf course policies. Thank you.
 PLEASE ARRANGE 4SOMES AT 8 MINUTE INTERVALS & PROVIDE THE PROSHOP WITH A
COPY OF THE SAME PRIOR TO YOUR EVENT
 PLAYING GROUPS LARGER THAT 4 ARE NEVER PERMITTED
 ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES AND/OR COOLERS MAY NOT BE BROUGHT ON THE PREMISES
 ALCOHOLIC ABUSE WILL NOT BE TOLERATED. THE GOLF CLUB OF NEWPORT AND ITS
STAFF RESERVE THE RIGHT TO AND WILL CEASE SERVING OF ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES
TO THE ENTIRE GROUP IF ALCOHOL ABUSE OCCURS.
 PROPER GOLF ATTIRE IS REQUIRED. NO TANK TOPS; HALTER TOPS; MUSCLE SHIRTS;
BATHING SUITS; SHORT SHORTS; OR SHIRTS WITH VULGAR/SLANG OR INAPPPROPRIATE
WORDS/IMAGES WILL BE ALLOWED.
 EVERY EFFORT SHOULD BE MADE TO COMPLETE THE ROUND IN 4 HOURS, OR WITHOUT
UNDUE DELAY. COURSE RANGER HAS THE AUTHORITY TO MAKE A GROUP THAT IS
FALLING BEHIND PLAY FROM SHORTER TEES OR SKIP A HOLE TO SPEED UP PLAY.
 LOUD, FOUL, & ABUSIVE LANGUAGE AND/OR BEHAVIOR ARE NOT TOLERATED.
 PLEASE TREAT OTHERS AS YOU WOULD LIKE TO BE TREATED.
 PLEASE REPAIR BALL MARKS; REPLACE DIVOTS; RAKE BUNKERS; & OBEY ALL CART &
DIRECTIONAL SIGNS.
 LUNCH FOR OUTINGS IS SERVED EITHER PRIOR TO TEE OFF, OR AT THE TURN. IF YOUR
LUNCH IS AT THE TURN, PLEASE PICK IT UP TAKE IT WITH YOU & CONTINUE WITH PLAY.
PAYMENT FOR EVENT SHOULD BE MADE PRIOR TO PLAYING ON THE DAY OF THE EVENT
IT IS THE CHAIRPERSON’S RESPONSIBILITY TO MAKE HIS/HER GROUP’S PARTICIPANTS

DELUXE PACKAGE: $67.00/person
 18 hole green fee and cart fee
 You will receive a bagged lunch at the turn, with pre-made jumbo sandwiches,
cookies, chips and soft drinks. Beer is no longer included.
 While you are waiting for your fellow golfers to complete play there will be iced tea
and lemonade to quench your thirst as well as cheese and crackers and some hot
chicken wings.
 Steak bake at the completion of play; cook your own New York Strip Steak complete
with buffet including: tossed salad, 4 bean salad, sliced hot peppers, baked potatoes,
bread, butter, sour cream, fruit, coffee, and dessert.
It’s all as great as it sounds!!!
For options other than the Deluxe Package, the following is a break down of the
options and their prices/person.
