WilliamPageisabignameontheAtlantarestaurantscene.He’sbeenakeymemberofthe
SedgwickRestaurantGroupteamforovertwenty-fiveyears.Avaluedbusinesspartnerof
ChrisandMicheleSedgwick’ssinceAspensSignatureSteaksEastCobbopenedinOctober,
2000. And a busy man about town since the West Cobb Aspens and Theo’s Brother’s
BakeryWestCobblocationsopenedin2005!
Williamisasouthernboyatheart.BorninSouthCarolina,hewasraisedatasoutherntable
andhasagreatappreciationofandloveforSouthernfood.MomandDadwerebothkidsof
farmers.William’sUnclesplantedcropsandgrewtheirownfood.AuntArettaownedafish
campwheresheservedfriedfishandsouthernveggiestothelocalsandMomcanned,froze
andpickledanythingshecouldgetherhandson!
Allthatsaid,it’stimethatWilliamAKA“BigWillie”getsbacktohisroots.
EnterChefJordanDaniels.DanielsjoinedtheSedgwickRestaurantGroupastheExecutive
ChefatAspensWestCobbinMarch,2015.ChefwasborninBaltimore,Marylandbutraised
a Georgia boy since relocating here at the age of three. His love of food came from his
Granna Jenny. Granna made amazing, soulful dishes like meatloaf, shepherds pie and a
herdofGermanfavorites.ThefoodbugcaughtJordanandhestartedwashingdishesata
localsportsbarattheageof15.Hewasquicklypromotedtolinecookandat19yearsof
age,hemovedtoCharleston,SouthCarolinatoattendJohnson&WhalesUniversity.Itwas
inCharlestonwhereChefdiscoveredallthingssouthern.Ingredientslikeblackeyedpeas,
gritsandcollardgreensspoketohim.HedugdeepandworkedatsomeincredibleCajun
and low country centric restaurants – even earning a trip to the James Beard House in
2008.ChefJordanhadtrulyfoundhishomeinsoutherncuisine.
