On September 1, 2015 at approximately 11:40 AM, a joint investigation between the
Sumter County Sheriff's Office and Pinellas County Sheriff's Office led to the arrest of Stallone
A. Minervini, W/M, age 23 and Jessica R. Brennan, W/F, age 19 at a residence in the 6500
block of W. SR 44 near the Sumter-Citrus County line. Minervini had outstanding warrants
issued for his arrest out of Pasco County, Florida for VOP-Burglary charges; intelligence
indicated that Minervini may be heavily armed with assault rifles and explosives, and that he
would resist law enforcement if efforts were made to take him into custody.
At approximately 11:22 AM, with the assistance of the Citrus County Sheriff's Office,
vehicular traffic on SR 44 was shut down, residents in the immediate area were evacuated, and
a Code Red call was placed advising residents to avoid the area during the law enforcement
operation.
At approximately 11:35 AM, the Sheriff's SWAT team approached the residence and
Minervini was taken into custody at approximately 11:40 AM without incident. Brennan was
also at the residence and while securing the residence, agents observed a large amount of
narcotics and paraphernalia in the residence. The residence was secured and detectives
drafted a search warrant.
At approximately 11:47 AM, SR 44 was re-opened and residents were allowed to return
to their residences.
At approximately 6:00 PM, Sheriff's detectives executed a search warrant at the residence.
The following was seized:

28.1 grams of Crack Cocaine, 11.3 grams Cocaine (powder), value $3,940

25.3 grams of THC Oil, value $1,265

37.3 grams of Dilaudid, value $2,940

9,8 grams of Oxycodone, value $2,910

191 pounds of K-2 Spice, value $433,520.21

44 Marijuana plants, value $27,500

$19,571.85 in cash



a Rossi .357 caliber revolver with ammunition (stolen from Pasco County)
