Your party will include:
Exclusive use of the Maplelea Cottage for 1.75 hours
A fun craft activity with all materials supplied (about 45 minutes)
Two Maplelea staff people to lead and manage the party

15% discount on any Maplelea items purchased to put in the loot bags
CELEBRATION PACKAGE
All of the above.
You bring the snacks and cake, including plates, cutlery or cups needed. Maplelea staff will help serve.
Party price: $300 for up to 8 children, plus $15 for each additional child.
TEA PARTY PACKAGE
All of the above, plus:
English style Afternoon Tea includes 3 kinds of finger sandwiches, 3 kinds of goodies, fruit
skewers, and mini scones with jam and cream all served on a three tier tea tray with bottomless
lemonade. You bring the cake. We provide real china, cutlery and lemonade goblets.
Party price: $450 for up to 8 children, plus $20 for each additional child.
FOR CRAFT ACTIVITIES, CHOOSE ONE OF THE FOLLOWING:
1. Make a braided hairband and learn a hair style: (Age 6+) The children will use pretty yarn to braid a
headband for their doll. Children will learn some tips and tricks for managing their doll’s hair and keeping it
looking great. The ponytail flip style will be taught.
2. Doll party hat and learn a hair style: (Age 6+) Children will make and decorate a cone shaped party hat
(with chin elastic) for their doll. They will learn some tips and tricks for managing their doll’s hair and keeping
it looking great. The ponytail flip style will be taught.
3. A bouquet of accordion flowers: (Age 6+) Children will fan-fold
paper and attach to pipecleaner stems to make a pretty bouquet of
flowers that can be held in their doll’s hand.
4. Button bracelet for doll and girl: (Age 8+) Children will use elastic
string and colourful buttons to make matching bracelets for
themselves and their doll.
5. Make a school lunch: (Age 8+) Craft a sandwich, cookies, cheese
string and a bag of carrot sticks for your doll.
The Maplelea staff will also lead some quick games before and/or after
the refreshments and chosen craft activity.
NOTES:
Timing: You will have exclusive use of the Maplelea
Cottage (activity room) for 1.75 hours. The craft or
activity and games will take approximately 30
minutes. Maplelea staff will lead the games before
and/or after the activity. Allow 30 minutes for
snacks/cake. The additional time can be used for
opening presents, using the photo booth,
socializing, and saying hellos, thank-yous and
good-byes. Of course you and your guests are
welcome to spend time in the Maplelea retail store
before and after your party.
Adult supervision: For all parties, the birthday
family must have one adult in attendance for every
four children. Minimum of two adults for any party.
Although Maplelea staff will be in attendance at the
event and on the sales floor, the birthday family’s
adults are responsible for supervising the children
at all times. Our party room has a maximum
capacity of 24 people (adults and/or children).
Number of guests: You may have less than 8
guests, but the base price for the Maplelea Party is
$300/$450 depending on the package.

maximum number of people (adults and children)
that can be in attendance in the party room is 24.
Ages: The activities we provide are suitable for
children age 6 to 12+. Children of other ages may
be in attendance at the discretion of the birthday
family, and are the responsibility of the family.
Please note that Maplelea products are not safe for
children under the age of 3 years due to small parts.
Dolls: Guests should be encouraged to bring their
own doll to the party as that is part of the fun. Any
type of doll is welcome. A “loaner” doll can be
provided to any child who does not have one, or
who forgets to bring theirs. Doll seats are provided
during the party so that the doll can sit beside the
child during the activity and refreshments. Dolls are
served a doll-size slice of (plastic) cake on a plate
with a fork and beverage which the child gets to
take home. (The doll seats remain the property of
Maplelea.)
Clean up: Maplelea staff provide the set-up and
clean-up!
Payment: 50% deposit at the time of reservation.
The balance is due at the end of the event.
Available times: Parties may be held any time
during hours in which Yorkdale Shopping Centre is
open, subject to prior bookings.
