Healthcare reform and regulatory changes are driving many

of technology. So when a large regional hospital was ready to
expand its physician network, it recognized the value that a solid IT infrastructure would bring to attracting and keeping quality

Problems with PCs, printers, phone lines, and access to electronic

The hospital was attracting top-notch providers to join its physician

It was critical to provide the highest levels of IT support so that physicians would be relieved of the burden of managing their own office technology. The hospital’s IT department was already working

fully support the IT needs of the physician network. The best option

Alphanumeric worked in partnership with the
hospital to understand their business and the IT
requirements for the physicians and clinics. Our
unique solution, known as AlphaCare, is a comprehensive suite of services that support the full
life cycle of the technology infrastructure – from
procurement and installation, through refresh
and disposal. Remote monitoring and a 24x7 service desk ensure that issues are resolved quickly.
A standard cloud-based electronic medical
records solution is supported, as well as hosted
email and Microsoft Office products.
With a strong and stable IT infrastructure in place
and highly responsive IT help desk, the hospital
was able to achieve the following:
Doctors and their office staff call the service desk
and their IT questions are answered quickly and
professionally. Troubleshooting is handled effectively; and when a fix is needed on-site, the right
technician is dispatched to resolve the issue – all
in under two hours. Our staff are trained in HIPAA
requirements to ensure compliance and patient
information privacy.
Alphanumeric transition teams focus on each
new practice so it is brought on board efficiently
and seamlessly. We inventory all office equipment and software and understand the needs
of the practice. It takes less than one month to
complete the process, including training practice staff. Then, our customer service approach
continues for each practice or clinic as we serve
as the single point of contact in managing their
ongoing IT needs.
