This w a s followed by an incomplete forward pass. A g a i n t h e y dropped back

4 t h down t h e y p u n t e d . Lowell fumbled
t h e catch, t h e ball rolled c u t of bounds
and H o b a r t recovered it o n t h e 10 y a r d
line. N e x t t h e y m a d e a successful end
run, ending in a touchdown and kicking
t h e goal, m a d e t h e score 7 to 0.
H o b a r t a g a i n kicked and

but failed. W i t h the ball on the 5 yard
line C l a r k s o n kicked and the ball dropped out of bounds. Now, H o b a r t with
the ball made three end runs, netting

a t t e m p t e d w a s downed for a loss and
they tried a line buck. Failing in this
they kicked on t h e 4th.

ydis. Lowell intercepted the next play,
a forward pass, and t h e half ended 14-0.
Clarkson opened the second half by
kicking, 'Hobart fumbled b u t recovered.
They tried an end run and failed but
followed w i t h a forward pass n e t t i n g
them 40 yds. Another forward failed.
Then t h e y m a d e 25 yds. on an end r u n
and 10 m o r e b y another end r u n . H e r e
O'Neil was replaced by Bezio because
of an injured knee. Now H o b a r t tried
end runs and line bucks b u t failed. I t
was impossible for them to p e n e t r a t e
Clarkson's line. Clarkson now had the
ball.
Donoihue took t h e ball, dropped
back to m a k e a forward pass and was
dawned behind his 'own line which gave
Hoibart 2 points on a safety.
Clarkson
then punted and H o b a r t made t w o end
run®, n e t t i n g 30 yds. N e x t an incomplete forward pass and a f t e r line bucks
lost tlhe ball on downs. Clarkson tried
two bucks and failed, forward pass incomplete. Donohue t r i e d end r u n with
no gain. "Ben" dropped back b u t made
no gain, forward pass incomplete, and
the 1st q u a r t e r of t h e second half ended 16-0.
In t h e 3rd q u a r t e r H o b a r t made 25
ydls. on forward and t h e y t r i e d another
but H o a r picked it off w i t h no gain.
Here E l m e r replaced Ke-lley and made
0 yds. around end. Then line bucks and
no gains.
N e x t E l m e r w e n t around
end for 2 yds. Clarkson t r i e d p u n t but
it w a s blocked. Hfobart h a s t h e ball on
the 25 yd. line. They tried t h r e e end
runs with no> gains. Then Wilson
blocked a forward giving Clarkson the
ball on t h e 10 yd. line and they tried a
forward.
