JACK IN THE BOX® FRANCHISE OWNERS ANNOUNCE MAJOR EXPANSION TO
MARCH OF DIMES FUNDRAISING CAMPAIGN
(RIVERSIDE, CA – Nov 1, 2014) Franchise owners of 126 Southern California Jack in the Box® restaurants
in Los Angeles, Orange County, Central Valley, San Bernardino and Riverside counties, have announced
they will expand their fundraising commitment to March of Dimes by launching a $200,000 fall
campaign surrounding November’s Prematurity Awareness Month. Franchise owner Envision Foods had
previously supported the Spring 2014 March of Dimes Inland Empire March for Babies campaign by
offering Prematurity Awareness Pins for a donation in their restaurants and raising more than $41,000.
“We are incredibly grateful for the exposure this campaign will continue to provide to the March of
Dimes mission of building a community of healthier moms and babies, and look forward to this
campaign which will help us educate the general public about prematurity and the work of March of
Dimes,” said Chris Huyett, March of Dimes Inland Empire Division Executive Director, who spearheaded
the original fundraising event. “The leadership and support of Jack in the Box will help March of Dimes
continue our advocacy, research, education, and community support programs throughout Southern
California.”
Beginning November 1, participating Jack in the Box® restaurants in Southern California will begin
offering lapel pins for a $1 donation of which 100% will be donated to March of Dimes.
