Cake Walk and Bake Sale
Greenwood PTA needs your help…Will you bake us a
scrumptious cake or some yummy cookies?
2 Ways to Bake:
1.
A Fair Favorite – the Cake Walk!
Be creative! Cakes may be in all shapes, any design & any flavor.........
 No nuts please
 Cake size: for 4 or more!
Fun suggestions:
 Add frosting, candy or write in liquid gels/or frosting – show your school spirit!
 Make a cupcake tower
 Use box cake mix and bake in two 8' or 9' pans or Bake brownies in a 9 x 13 pan and cut in half (now you
have 2 cakes!)
 Make any flavor! Chocolate, vanilla, strawberry, lemon, coffee crumb, chocolate chip cookie…surprise us!
 High cake, low cake, wide cake, narrow cake
 A truck cake, an airplane cake, a doll cake or flower cake
 A store bought cake or better yet, ask your local baker if they would donate a cake!
2. Bake Sale
Again, be creative! Pull out a family favorite recipe or a sweet treat grandma used to make….
*Goodies can be pre-package into individual baggies and can include the ingredients for parents to read
Baked goods can be dropped off starting at 10:30 am on June 10th in the AP room by the stage or bring them
when you join in for the fun at the Farewell Fair!
Fun Suggestions:
 Cupcakes, Mini cupcakes or Cake pops
 Rice crispy treats, Brownies or Cookies
 Chocolate covered pretzels
 Lemon bars, Fudge or Popcorn balls with caramel
 Sweet breads: chocolate, lemon, carrot cake, chocolate and vanilla (pre-sliced)
