Project Minnesota/León Family Trip to Nicaragua Ten Days in Early to Mid August 2017* Project Minnesota/León (PML) will customize a trip for your group of all ages—parents, youth, grandparents, and friends! • Learn about the history by viewing many murals around León. • Learn about the culture through art and dance classes. • Visit San Carlos, a rural area near León, to learn about PML’s community development model. • Visit nature preserves to see birds and wildlife. • Practice your Spanish with the family you will live with. • Climb a volcano. • Swim in the nearby Pacific Ocean! Our PML staff will organize your itinerary, arrange for transportation in León, and serve as your bilingual leader for all daily activities. *Exact dates will be set once the group is formed.
