Updated February 2015 The Content Editor (Part Two) You can apply a variety of paragraph styles to your content in order to best present content to your readers.
The rich-text content editor is a simplified text editor. How formatting options appear to your readers (the
end result) will depend on the design styles and features approved during your design process.
Note: All screenshots taken in Chrome 40.0.2214.111 running on Macintosh OS X 10.9.5. If you are using a different
operating system and/or browser, these screenshots may not match exactly what you see.
Formatting Buttons for Paragraphs Option
Icon
End Result
Bulleted List
Text will appear bulleted, in a list
Numbered List
Text will appear numbered, in a list
Blockquote
A stylistic blockquote design will appear with the text
Insert Read More
Tag
This will add a “continue reading” link to the homepage. You can use this to
have a custom excerpt length appear on the blog homepage.
Decrease Indent
Will appear for text already indented and will move text back (left).
Increase Indent
Will indent selected text paragraph(s), good to use for text emphasis that is
not a block quote.

“Numbered List” button
3. The list style you selected will
appear in the content editor
Hint: You can switch between the
two list styles by highlighting text
and clicking the other button, or
remove list styles by clicking the
same button currently in use.

2. Click the “Blockquote” button

indented and the “Blockquote”
button will appear depressed
when text is highlighted
Note: Preview your post to see how
the stylized blockquote will appear.
Hint: To remove, highlight text and
click the blockquote button again.
How to Indent a Paragraph 1.
Highlight the paragraph(s) you
wish to indent
2. Click the “Increase Indent”
button
Hint: You can click the “Increase
Indent” button multiple times to
continue to indent the paragraph.
3. The paragraph will display the
indentation
Hint: Click the “Decrease Indent”
button to move the paragraph
margin back to the left.

Place your cursor at the end of
a sentence or paragraph, or on
a new paragraph line
2. Click the “Insert Read More
Tag” button
3. A dotted line will appear to
confirm where you inserted
the “Continue Reading” link
Hint: You can remove the link by
placing your cursor at the end of
the dotted line and using your
delete/backspace key.
