PART 1: Create your shop’s Facebook Page
FEATURED
Remember, you must be logged into your
Facebook Profile (this requires an email address and password). Without a Profile, you
cannot make a Page for your shop.
Go to
www.facebook.com/page
or
www.facebook.com/pages/create.php
Click on “Local Business or Place”.
Select the Category: “Automotive”.
Enter information in all fields:
Shop Name, Address, Phone
number, and then check the box
to agree to the Facebook Terms of
Service.
Click “Get Started” to officially
create the page!

PART 2: Fill your Page with Information
Now that your Page is created, it needs to
be filled with information. Here are a few
things you should absolutely have from
the start:
Post your shop’s basic information, such as store
hours, links to your website, the year your store
was founded, and any other information you want
your customers to see. The more information, the
more useful your Page!
Upload your shop’s logo as the Page’s profile image.
Upload a high-quality Cover Image to be placed at the top of
your Facebook Page.
Upload photos of your storefront, of the lobby and repair bays,
and most importantly of your friendly employees.

Click the drop-down arrow next to “Home” in
the top-right corner of the Facebook Page.
Select the Page for your shop in the list that
appears.
Then visit our page at:
www.facebook.com/mechanicnet
and
“Like” us.
Leave us a message on our page, call customer service, or send us an email with a link to your page.
