That little farce that opened the Season did OK, I’m happy to report. (Our audiences LOVE to laugh… especially at silliness such as HOTBED HOTEL.) Everyone should be very proud of the high level of performances and technical creativity that we witnessed during our 55th Season. I know I am. Project Capital Campaign, we want the show to be as much fun as possible. From getting caught in the rain (in the middle of the Indian River in Sebastian) on the way to a photo shoot on a “Pirate Ship”, to watching the rocky Cornwall Coast of England take shape on our stage, to laughing with the Costume Committee as another Pirate ensemble materializes…we certainly are having fun putting Gilbert & Sullivan’s operetta together. I hope that all of you will “Get Your Pirate On”, and join us for a rollicking good time.
