What is Your Story?
Welcome and Congratulations!
All student art pieces you are viewing tonight were judged by their local PTA
and moved up to Northshore Council PTSA for further judging. Council
PTSA received 295 entries (15% more than last year) across 6 art categories and
26 PTAs. 58 pieces will continue onward to WA State PTA for further judging.
Some pieces were awarded a judges choice award for outstanding interpretation
of their art work against the theme of “What is Your Story?.”

What is Reflections?
The National PTA Reflections program encourages students to explore the arts
and express themselves in 6 categories: Dance, Musical Composition, Film,
Literature, Photography and Visual Arts. The PTA Reflections program is
the oldest and largest arts education program of its kind. The Reflections program was developed in 1969 by Colorado’s PTA President, Mary Lou Anderson. Each year students in grades pre-K—12th are recognized for bringing a
theme to life through their art medium.
