1: Enzo saw his first race at
age 10, and could drive at
13. He was invalided out of
the army during World War
II; neither his father nor
brother survived it.

he switched from driving to

The Ferrari Enzo used an allnew, massive 6-liter V12 engine mounted over the rear

The six-speed semiautomatic gearshift in the
Enzo was attached directly to
the engine, reducing shifting
times to 150 milliseconds. It

finally had enough "go" to
require extra "stop."
As the car was sculpted from
yard after yard of carbon fiber, the material was left unmasked throughout the cabin. The carbon-fiber seats

switches and controls on the
dashboard. Ferrari's goal was
to create a road-going supercar with the same "humanmachine interface" that had
been developed for the track.

How To Make A Berry Irish Frozen Yogurt
Ingredients
100g of blackberries
100g of raspberries
100g of strawberries
6 teaspoons of honey
600mls of natural yoghurt,
chilled
Method
1. With this recipe you can either
make one big batch or three individual pots.
2. To make each one all you have to do is
simply mash the berries with a fork in bowl
and then add the honey and yoghurt and
mix until smooth. To make individual berry
pots, add 2 teaspoons of
honey and 200mls of yoghurt into each pot of
mashed blackberries, raspberries, and strawberries.
3. Transfer to an airtight
container(s) and place in
freezer for one hour.
4. To serve , scoop the
frozen berry yoghurt into
bowls as you would with
ice cream.

How To Make Gingerbread Men
Ingredients
Method
* 2 cups flour
1. Preheat oven to 180°C. Line 2
baking trays with baking paper.
cookie cutters, cut shapes and
place on tray. Form leftover dough
into a ball and re-roll and repeat
cutting out until all the dough is
used up.
* 1/2 tsp baking soda
* 1 Tbsp Gregg's Ground Ginger
* 1 cup (220g) firmly packed Chelsea Soft Brown Sugar or Chelsea
Dark Cane Sugar
* 150g butter
* 1 egg, beaten
* 1/2 cup Chelsea Icing Sugar
* food colouring & lollies to decorate
2. Sift flour, baking soda and
ground ginger together and place
in a bowl or food processor. Add
Chelsea Soft Brown Sugar or Dark
Cane Sugar.
3. Add butter and rub in with fingertips or pulse in food processor
until resembles fine breadcrumbs.
Add egg and stir or pulse to mix.
6. Make icing by adding a few
drops of food colouring and 11⁄2
tsp water to the icing sugar. Drop a
small amount under each spot
where you wish to place a lolly.
If the
dough is too sticky,
add a little more flour to the mix
and wrap in cling wrap. Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
4. Roll out on lightly floured surface or between 2 sheets of baking
paper until 5mm thick. Using

How To Make Mini Chocolate Cupcakes
What you need:

1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
In a medium bowl, whisk together milk, vegetable
oil, vanilla extract and vinegar. Pour into dry ingredients and stir until just combined and no streaks of
flour remain.
1/2 cup cocoa powder
2 tsp instant coffee powder
(optional)
1 cup sugar
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
with 1 tbsp and add additional if you
wish to thin the frosting), then add in the
confectioners’ sugar gradually until the
frosting reaches your desired consistency (make it a bit stiffer if you wish by
adding additional sugar).
Fill a pastry bag with a star tip, or a ziploc bag with the corner snipped off, and
pipe frosting onto cooled cupcakes.
Distribute batter evenly into prepared muffin cups,
filling each about 3/4 full.
Bake for 10-12 minutes, until a tester inserted into
the center comes out clean.
Turn cupcakes out onto a wire rack to cool completely before frosting.

3/4 cup milk (low fat is ok)
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 tsp apple cider vinegar

1. Line the base and sides of a
20cm square cake tin with baking

2. Place the milk chocolate in a
heatproof bowl set over a saucepan of hot water. Bring the water
to boil, then take the pan off the
heat and allow the chocolate to

has melted, remove the bowl from
the saucepan and allow the chocolate to cool to just above room
temperature. (If it's too hot, the
marshmallows will melt.)

powder ½ tsp salt 210ml
(71/2fl oz) whole milk 2

For the frosting: 670g icing
sugar, sifted 210g unsalted
butter, softened 70ml whole
milk 30g tinned caramel or
dulce de leche Pinch of
good-quality sea salt (such as
maldon) For the filling and
decoration: 100g tinned caramel or dulce de leche Pinch
of good-quality sea salt
Method
1. Preheat the oven to
170°C/gas mark 3, and line
the muffin tins with paper
muffin cases to make the
number you require. First
make the sponge. In a freestanding electric mixer with
the paddle attachment or using a hand-held electric
whisk, mix the butter, flour,
sugar, cocoa powder, baking
powder and salt together until they form a crumb-like
consistency. In a jug, mix
together the milk and eggs
by hand. 2. With the mixer
or whisk on a slow speed,
gradually pour half of the
liquid into the crumb mixture
and mix thoroughly until
combined. Raise the speed to
medium and beat until the
batter is smooth and thick,
with no lumps. Scrape down
the sides of the bowl now
and then. Once all lumps are
gone, turn the speed back
down and gradually pour in
the remaining liquid, continuing to mix until the batter is
smooth and combined. 3.
Spoon the batter into the prepared paper cases, filling
them two-thirds full. Using a
50 millilitre ice-cream scoop
can make this process easier
and will result in even cupcakes. Bake for 20 to 25
minutes or until the sponge
bounces back when lightly
touched. Leave to cool
slightly before removing
from the tin and placing on a
wire rack to cool completely
before frosting. 4. Using the
freestanding electric mixer
with the paddle attachment
or the hand-held electric
whisk, gradually mix the icing sugar and butter together
on a low speed until combined and there are no large
lumps of butter. Gradually
add the milk while mixing on
a slow speed. Add the dulce
de leche and sea salt and mix
thoroughly. Turn up the
speed
diameter and about three
centimetres deep. Retain the
cut-out piece of sponge.
Spoon about 1 teaspoon of
the dulce de leche into the
hollow. 6. Replace the cutout piece of sponge, trimming to fit and pressing
down gently to ensure that
the top is level with the rest
of the cake. 7. Spoon generous amounts of the frosting
onto each cupcake, then gently smooth over with a palette knife, making a swirl at
the top if you wish. To finish, spoon about 1 teaspoon
of dulce de leche on the top
of each frosted cupcake,
swirling it slightly into the
frosting, and add a light
sprinkling of sea salt.

Minecraft Review
Minecraft is about IMAGINATION you can build what you're
heart desires. It consists of blocks
so it is not like real life that has
millions of 3D shapes all around
you in Minecraft the only 3D
shape is a Cube. There is different
modes in Minecraft Adventure
Mode, Creative Mode and Survival
Mode. In Adventure Mode you
can't destroy cubes without the
appropriate tool like "Dirt" needs a
shovel or spade. Shovel and Spade
are the same just that different people call it differently. In Creative
Mode you have unlimited resources, you break Cubes instantly,
you can fly and there is only one
way you can die. Survival Mode
you find food, make a house, craft
tools and defend yourself from
monsters called by experienced
players and the Minecraft coding
"Mobs " one of these Mobs is
called a creeper he's the minecraft
logo alongside Cubes.
If you get too close he will explode
and most likely kill you.
There is also Multiplayer. In Multiplayer you survive but with real
people. Some servers have special
add-ons called plugins they make
the server more interesting.
In Minecraft there is no such thing
as The End or Well done you're
finished now buy the next game
when the other games do this
Minecraft doesn't you just generate
a new World and you play again.
You can do this when you get
bored of you're world because you
cannot finish the game you can get
the credits which are questions
asked and answered and at the end
it will show the proper credits but
you can't win the game it just goes
on forever because it is you that
decides when the World is finished

Minecraft also has three separate
worlds in the world you made
they are called "OverWorld, Nether, The End" some people call

and plains, snow covered forests
and desserts. Nether is a world
called by most players "Hell’’. The
End world is an island in the middle of no where because when you
look around you can see a black
space all around the island on top
of it on the bottom around the edges. If you jump off you will die.
Minecraft is ending game but what
fun would you get if there was no
mods? You know add-ons you
don't pay for you just download
them and install them. You don’t
have to worry about that there is
millions of mods for Minecraft on
the Internet. Most mods add items
into the game or they add more
cubes. So you can't ever play all of
it.
Minecraft is really cheap it is just

the computer
version. Minecraft is also on

iOS and Android devices.

Minecraft is a game for everyone
to play but you have to be careful
on what server you go on or you
might stumble upon someone that
might cyber bully you or use bad
language.
Don’t worry if you are on Multiplayer and you can’t read what
they are saying, Minecraft players
use a lot of slang that means to cut
words to make them smaller.
"What" is how we would write it at
school or if you were writing a
letter but in Minecraft people write
"Wat or Wut" they mean the same
thing but they are just shortened so
don’t worry if you don't understand it at first you will get it while
getting used to the game.

Grand Theft Auto V
(also known as GTA V)
is the latest Grand Theft
Auto game and is based
on the world of Los Santos. There are three characters you play as in the
game and as they meet
each other you plan three
main heists with many
minor missions in between to set them up.
The three characters in
the game are named Michael, Franklin and Trevor. They all meet each
other within game play.
You start off as Franklin,
then meet Michael and
finally Trevor.

house and is very rich

pulling off heists. He is

Gravity Review
Gravity is said to be one
of the best films of the
year made by Alfonso
Cuarón. The film is
about two astronauts lost
in space attempting to
arrive back on Earth but
have to. The name Gravity was chosen because
gravity is the one big
thing that is missing
throughout most of the
film.It is said to be one
of the best films of the
year and is rated Five
stars! Impressive!
The film starts off with
three astronauts trying to
repair a space station
when they learn that satellites from around the
Earths orbit have blew
up and the shrapnel is
heading towards them.
They must get out of the
area but it's too late, the

shrapnel hits the part of
the space station the
woman is at and she is
separated from the rest
of the crew.She hurtles
through space for some
time when, as if by a
miracle she sees her captain.
He is wearing a special
type of jetpack for space
and is coming towards
her.When they meet they
try to find the other
member, only to learn
that he is dead.Now
they try to get back to
Earth but the captain
makes an unexpected
decision which might
risk his own life.
The film is absolutely
brilliant and is a must
see. The drama in it is
very realistic and the effects were perfect.It was
interesting to watch, especially when it shows
what's happening from

We started Horse Care lessons in October. Every Tuesday morning for 4 weeks we
went to Tullamore to the Annagharvey Equestrian centre
where we had our lesson. It
usually lasted for an hour but
sometimes it would run into
an hour and 15 mins.
This is what happens at a
usual lesson:
1. First we have to tack up,
that means we have to put on
our gear, a helmet & riding
boots as quickly as possible
2. Next we head over to the
stables to brush the ponies,
we use curry combs and hard
brushes to get all the muck
off them
the ponies. They need gear
such as the num-nah, saddle& head halter strapped on
to them. It can be hard to get
the pony to take the bit!
4. We lead the ponies out of
the stables into the arena by
a simple command of “walk
on!”
5. The ponies are mounted in
the arena and the riding lesson begins
New things we have learned
at the lessons:
* How to clean the ponies
properly & scrape out the
dirt from around the “frog”
* The names of all the proper
equipment
* The up & down technique
for riding, it is really hard to
get the hang of it but it stops
you from just bouncing
around when trotting.
6. You have to be very careful to keep your distance
from the pony and rider in
front as you could get a kick
if you get too close!

Snow, rain and winds are
some of Irelands biggest
weather enemies at the moment. Winds are tearing
down buildings and trees,
rain is flooding parts of the
coastal cities and the snow
covers us up in a white blanket. That’s Ireland’s weather
for you. The 12th of February has been the worst on
record. Gusts up to 120km
are being recorded in the
south west. Over 120,000
businesses and properties
are being left without power
and 12,000 homes are without phone lines and 19
trucks have overturned. This
has been the worst winter
on record but especially for
coastal and rural towns after
the terrible floods they have
had last month. Public services such as An Post, Airlines, Train and Luas services, bus services have either been delayed or

weather. In Laois, the Monasterevin to Portarlington
Road, the Block Road in
Portlaoise and Ridge Road
have closed because of fallen
trees and ESB lines. This extreme weather is costing the
government millions such as

in Co. Wexford. Even

us are being
affected by the

The story of st valentine
The story began when a Roman Emperor Claudius, Wanted a strong and fierce army.
But the problem was, that none of the men wanted to join the army, Because they all
had families at home, and they were all married. Then, Claudius thought of a brilliant
idea. He thought that if men were not allowed to get married, they would join the army.
A priest named Valentine protested against it, as he thought that everyone needed to
be married, and if you were living together and you weren’t married, he believed it to
be a sin. So Valentine secretly and illegally married couples anyway.
A while after,Valentine was arrested and was told his punishment was death. The emperor thought that Valentine was well spoken and encourage him not to be a Christian
and become a royal Roman. But Valentine denied it and stuck to his beliefs. He was
then sent to prison until he could be executed.
Couples would come every day to visit him and send him letters. And at the end of the
letter they would sign it remember your Valentine.
Valentine was executed on the 24th of February. People sign their cards till this they

Scientists were amazed and
also shocked to discover that
there was a caveman with blue
eyes. Your probably thinking
that it doesn’t mean anything,
But actually, it means that this
caveman originated from Europe. It was originally thought
that early Europeans were fair,
but this caveman had dark hair
and dark skin, but blue eyes.
The remains of this caveman
were found in a cold subterranean cavern, 5,000ft under sea
level, in the Caribbean mountains, of northwest Spain. Researchers were amazed to find
African and European genes
from just a tooth test. This individual died almost 5,000
years ago.

The story of Edward
Kenway,
* One day he was on an
island taking in all the
scenery, then out of nowhere he saw a mysterious man with a letter
when the man saw edward he ran, yet Edward
was a stubborn fellow
and was eager to find out
what the letter said and
Edward chased the man
until eventually he
caught him they had a
fierce battle before Edward got the better of the
man and killed him. The
man wore a strange
cloak and a message that
was to be delivered to
the Governor of Havana.
Edward took the mans
cloak to disguise himself
as one of them, but as he
was walking along the
beach he noticed a travelling merchant in distress from a bunch of
drunk pirates and Edward thought why not
help the merchant for
some money and a ride
to Havana eventually he
beat up the pirates and
got a few‘bob’ but coincidentally the merchant
was going to Havana as
well so they both went to
his ship together.
* Edward was a young
Pirate Captain ,he succeeded in all his raids
and plunders on enemy
ships, with his amazing
crew.
* When Edward got to
Havana he had to get a
new pair of swords as
the old pair were useless
the friendly merchant
lent Edward money but
then the merchant was
robbed and he wasn’t
born with assassin
climbing skills so Edward chased the robber
with his skills and put
the man to justice.
* Later in the story Edward realised he was doing bad and tried to help
but got captured and was
then a prisoner but he
was crafty and a person
called Adewale and he
helped Kenway escape
from captivity when they
got their stuff they then
killed everyone and they
and realised they weren’t
the only slaves so they
saved and recruited people as pirates and destroyed the main ship.

Philip Seymour Hoffman
Philip Seymour-Hoffman was a Hollywood actor and film director
He was born on the 23rd of July 1967 in Fairport in New York to his parents Marilyn
O’Connell and George Stowell Hoffman. His ancestry includes Irish, German, English and
Dutch nationalities. His parents divorced in 1976. He began acting in High School because
a bad neck injury caused him to quit wrestling. At the age of 17, he was selected to attend
The New York State School of the Arts. Hoffman earned a BFA in NYU (New York University).
Hoffman’s acting career began in a TV show called Law and Order in which he played a
defendant in a trial. Since then he has played many different characters in many different
movies. His latest film on the bigscreen was The Hunger Games: Catching Fire. Where he
played The Games master, Plutarch Heavensbee.
Hoffman died on the 2nd of February in his rented office in Manhattan NY. He was in the
middle of filming The Hunger Games: Mokingjay Part 2. He had already filmed a majority
of his scenes. Hoffman was considered the greatest actor for playing characters.
