PRODUCT SPECIFICATIONS
Bases
Bases are solid Mahogany mitered at all four corners. Bases
have a matching profile to the selected tope edge detail.
Adjustable leveling glides are provided to insure proper
adjusting of unit to floor conditions.
Veneer
Veneer on all exposed surfaces is select plain sliced Plate 26 or
Plate 7 African Mahogany. Outside surface veneers are bookmatched to provide proper grain consistency. Drawer fronts are
vertical grain and matched in selected sets to insure proper
veneer balance. Inside faces of end panels and back panels are
random matched.
Locks - Desk, Credenzas and Returns use pedestal locking.
Individual pieces are shipped random keyed. Units may be
keyed alike upon special request. Lateral files are central
locking as standard and feature drawer interlocks.
Wood Veneer Tops
Tops are 1 1/2" thick, 3-ply construction with solid Mahogany
rims on all four sides, shaped with either a knife or zulu edge
detail. A special Mahogany sketch face using plate 19 and plate
26 is featured is standard on most units.
Wire Management - Black wire access grommets are standard on all returns, bridge and corner worksurfaces located
in back center of top. Black wire access grommets are standard on all credenzas, hutches, highback organizers and
computer tables located in back panel.
Drawers
Drawer sides and backs are solid hardwood Beech lumber

/16" thick. Drawer fronts are 3-ply construction, 13/16" thick.
Drawer bottoms are of 3-ply hardwood construction. Drawers
are assembled with dovetail construction in all four corners.
Center drawer pen trays are of solid hardwood.
Chassis Construction
Construction technique is mortise and tenon, groove and
tenon, heavily glue blocked for maximum strength.
End Panels
End panels are 3-ply construction, 1" thick with solid
Mahogany rims on front and back.
Filing
All file drawers utilize a black powder coated metal filing
rod system to accommodate legal, letter, and small EDP
filing requirements. Desks with 36" deep pedestals
accommodate double letter cross filing.
Modesty Panels
Panels are 3/4" thick, 3-ply construction with bookmatched approach side veneer face. Desk modesty panels
feature a 31/4" to 6" center recess.
Finish
All surfaces are catalyzed varnish finish to insure maximum
durability, chemical resistance, color retention, and clarity.
All exterior surfaces are finished in the following multi-step
sequence: Sap stain, NGR stain, washcoat, washcoat sand,
filler spray and wipe, sealer spray, sealer sand, varnish spray,
varnish sand, varnish spray and polish.
Hardware
Drawer Suspensions - File drawers utilize an “A” grade
heavy duty 100% full extension black metal ball bearing
slide for smooth operation. Box drawer and center drawer
heavy duty black metal ball bearing slides have 100% full
extension. All suspension systems feature positive and
cushioned in/out stops.
Tops are full-filled and hand rubbed.
Drawer interiors and exteriors are finished with sealer,
sealer sand, and varnished.
