SessionM Co-Founder and CEO Lars Albright Honored with BostInno 50 on Fire Award
Award Honors Albright as a Technology Innovator
Boston, Mass. - March 27, 2013 - SessionM, the leading mobile loyalty and advertising
platform, today announced Co-Founder and CEO Lars Albright is the recipient of the BostInno 50
on Fire Award. The award recognizes the hottest Boston-based disruptors and innovators
spanning a variety of industries--including technology, marketing and advertising, sports and
fitness, and education, to name a few--who are igniting the Boston scene.
Albright was recognized as a successful entrepreneur in the Boston technology scene,
specifically for his role in creating new, innovative mobile advertising solutions. Albright began
breaking new ground in the mobile advertising industry with the creation of Quattro Wireless,
where he helped build an ad network that allowed a variety of brands to capitalize on the mobile
channel. After Apple, Inc. acquired Quattro Wireless, Albright was instrumental in the launch of
iAd, which enabled Apple to generate revenue from ads in iPhone apps for the first time. Most
recently, Albright co-founded SessionM, a mobile loyalty rewards platform that is reshaping how
today's digital natives interact with their mobile media.
SessionM has proven to be a key solution to many of the significant challenges the mobile
industry faces today, including increasing user retention, effectively monetizing apps and driving
revenue for advertisers. SessionM has seen incredible growth in just its first year, partnering with
mobile publishers and advertisers like American Express, Ford, Shazam, The New England
Patriots, and The Weather Channel. Through his achievements at Quattro Wireless, Apple and
now SessionM, Albright continues to drive the mobile industry forward with innovative solutions
for app developers, publishers and brand marketers.
“Boston is a hub of bright minds and new ideas, driving innovation across all industries that set
new standards,” said Albright. “I’m inspired by the city and my peers. It’s an honor to be
recognized among this group of innovators.”
