They live in Bloomington with their two youngest kids, Christian and Nicole, who attended high school here and were attending IU until their father’s illness made it financially unfeasible. Joe is a physical therapist and has pulmonary fibrosis—a terminal disease. The GOOD news is that Joe is at the top of the list for a double lung transplant. The BAD news is, to have the surgery, they must produce up front $8,000 for the immuno-suppressant medications Joe will need to take after the transplant. Joe and his family are in desperate need of your help! Please pray for Joe and his family, and please, if you can, donate some money to help Joe reach the critical $8,000 threshold. Checks can be sent to St. Paul, payable to St. Paul, with “Joe Leighton” on the memo line, or you can contribute through the IU Credit Union (information below). Thank you!
