assistance, and other services.

to the King, but…. Only those who lived
on his land really were.

has large amounts of land =
fiefs= vassals = military protection

son=Primogeniture.

son is in military or church (very
powerful)
§ This only occurred in nobility, not peasants

animals

fighter, he would be knighted.
