MHS Spouse Account Recovery
Keep in mind that CHI employees must send the initial invitation to their spouses. If you
haven’t gotten that invitation, ask your spouse to invite you using their dashboard
feature on My Healthy Spirit (MHS).
Spouse-Account Self Recovery Process?
1. As a spouse of a CHI employee, your login starts from the Family Login tab on

Note: If you click “Next” and the system says it can’t find you name or date of birth, skip
to Employee Reset of Spouse Account below.
4. The next screen will ask you to answer the security questions you set up when
you first registered with the site. Then you create your new password.
Note: If you click “Save” and the system indicates one or more of your answers is
incorrect, you can keep trying, or skip to Employee Reset of Spouse Account below.
5. If you successfully answered the security questions and created a new password
in the proper format, when you click “Save” you’ll be taken back to the family
login screen. Enter your username and new password, and you’ll be taken to the
MHS Spouse site, and from there you have several ways to get to the Wellness
site.

2. In your left navigation, under your name, click on either “Preferences” or “Register
[yourspousename] Now”
3. Click the “Spouse” tab

The Spouse tab shows the new temporary password and the email you wish to send it
to.
6. Click the “Update” button.
This will generate an email to you or your spouse’s email inbox. The invitation
contains directions and the temporary password, but your spouse can use the “Log
In” button in the invitation for ease of use.
Note: Only click the button once.

Note: If the employee and spouse are sharing a computer, the employee must sign out
before the spouse signs in.
Alternatively, the employee can tell the spouse what the temporary password is without
using the email, or if no email was provided.
7. You can close out of the Preferences box by clicking the “Close” button that’s
displayed after you clicked the “Update” button
