CAMPERS RULES
1. Campers must stay with their group and counselors at all times.
2. Campers must not leave the designated areas on their own at
any time.
3. Campers should observe the camp program:
Wake up on time
Wash and dress on time
Clean their cabin and keep it tidy
Respect their counselors, teachers and other adult staff
Be friendly and polite to other campers
Avoid arguments
Participate in all activities unless not feeling well and
excused.
4. Campers must not litter, damage, destroy or disturb any
personal or camp property.
5. Campers should not use foul language, name calling or physical
force.
CLASS / ACTIVITIES RULES
1. Follow counselor’s/teacher’s directions on a first request.
2. Keep hands, feet and objects to self.
3. Use appropriate working behavior (no yelling, whistling, singing, etc.)
5. Raise hands for the teacher to call on them.
6. Use “inside voices” indoors
7. Be attentive and listen to class lessons and discussion.
8. Work quietly
9. Cooperate with teammates on group projects.
STUDENT RIGHTS
1. I have the right to be treated with compassion in this camp.
This means no one will laugh at me or hurt my feelings.
2. I have the right to be myself in this camp. This means no
one will treat me unfairly because of the color of my skin or
the fact that I am fat or thin, tall or short, a girl or a boy.
3. I have the right to be safe in this camp. This means that no
one will hit me, kick me, push me, pinch me, or hurt me.
4. I have the right to hear and be heard in this camp. This
means that no one will yell, scream, shout or make loud
noises.
DISCIPLINARY RULES
When one or more of these rules are broken, the following
consequences may be carried out by the teacher and/or the
office.
1. Warning
2. Removed from class/activity
3. Be sent to Camp Director’s office
4. Lose certain privileges
As the Summer Camp -Το “Ελληνικό Χωριό” committee, we have
planned a Fun Time combined with excellence in Greek Education
and Hellenic Traditions, in a manner reflecting our Noble Heritage.
We need the cooperation of all campers and the parents’ support.
We will appreciate your acknowledging the above rules and
endorsing their application by signing this document, along with
your child. Please return this document to the office before leaving
the camp.

SWIMMING POOL RULES AND REGULATIONS
1. Girls should wear one piece swim attire.
2. The use of sunscreen is encouraged.
3. Walk, don’t run in and around the pool facility.
4. No food or beverages are allowed at the pool site. No chewing gum is
permitted anywhere in the facility.
5. Campers with open cuts, sores, bandages, colds, coughs or infected
eyes are not permitted in the pool.
6.
All adults who appear to have ample swim skills must pass a swim test
before entering deep water. Weak or non-swimmers must remain in
shallow water no deeper than chest level.
7. Diving in water, back dives, somersaults, "cannon balls" from the side of
the pool or any other unsafe activities are not permitted.
8. Lying on the deck close to the edge of the pool where swimmers may
trip over sunbathers is dangerous. Sunbathers must lie or sit at least
three (3) feet away from the edge of the pool.
9. Spitting, spouting or nose-blowing in the pool is strictly prohibited.
10. Emergency procedures must be observed. Swimmers must leave the
pool area immediately upon the signal or request of the Swimming
coordinator.
11. Abusive language will not be tolerated.
12. Any camper who will not observe the rules will be warned the first time
and asked to leave the pool facility if a second offense occurs.
13. No one should engage the lifeguard in unnecessary conversation.

For the Monastery,
Girls: Bring long skirts (below the knee), head scarf. NO bare
arms or midriffs.
Boys: NO jeans, NO shorts, NO t-shirts.
WHAT NOT TO BRING...
- Revealing Clothing (i.e. NO tube-tops, NO crop-tops)
- Inappropriate Logo Shirts (or else...)
- Weapons (NO pocket knives, NO guns, or any others)
- Alcohol / Illegal Drugs / Tobacco
- CD Player, Walkman, Game Boys / Video Games
