Products and production possibilities have been adapted to the course of time. However, the faithfulness to the location of Solingen and the partner- 02 ship-based relationship to customers, suppliers and employees have remained. Our top-priority maxim has remained as well: customer satisfaction. FOR Quality The requirements of our customers have become noticeably more stringent in the past years. Our level of quality control has been continuously and consistently adapted to these challenges. The objectives of our company policy are, with regard to precision and quality, to consolidate a leading position in the market and to consolidate the name of J.C. König as a synonym for outstanding quality. All the sequences are accompanied and checked according to our certified quality management system (ISO/ TS 16949:2009). We procure materials exclusively from selected suppliers which are integrated into our quality management system. With u s, it 's so nic e a spl to bout! sh a Sparkler Environment Even if our products are made of metal and therefore have good recyclability, the manufacturing process affects the environment. Keeping these burdens as low as possible is our aim which we are pursuing consistently. Sleeve Employees Just like we externally consider ourselves to be a partner of industry, we maintain the partnership-based interplay amongst ourselves. We are successful only due to our joint know-how and joint efforts. Sanitary equipment Products Today, more than 110 employees work for the fourth generation of our family business. High-precision deep-drawn parts made of stainless steel, steel and nonferrous metals are produced in modern fabrication facilities. Our production concentrates on thin-walled hollow bodies with wall thicknesses of 0.15 - 2.0 mm. Every year, approx. 800 t of high-grade steel, 900 t of steel and 25 t of nonferrous metals are processed in our company. The know-how of our employees, in conjunction with ultramodern production installations, makes it possible for us to manufacture the most complicated geometries which require more than 20 forming steps in extreme cases. And that while complying with the demanded precision and quality. 03 We'r ei n th el i gh t! Burner holding clip ENGINEERING AND TOOLMAKING Engineering The innovative spirit of our design engineers, combined with corresponding hardware and software, is the basis for the conversion of new ideas into practicable, economically viable solutions. What is conceivable is feasible 04 as well. And what is still a turned part today will, for example, be a more costeffective deep-drawn part tomorrow. Intensive partnership-based discussions with the customer are the starting point of such creative processes. Design It is still a long, exciting path from the origin of an idea to the series production. Which processing steps does the material permit and which sequence leads to the optimum product? dri v ! With us, y ou es ly afe Airbags ABS Toolmaking Our toolmaking is the direct continuation of the engineering. The finest mechanical precision work with the aid of ultramodern CNC technology creates the basis for smooth series production. Magnet housing for rollover bar In the trial phase, the tools are optimised until the result meets the requirements in full. Quality and economic viability profit by this and assure customer satisfaction. Braking system for commercial vehicles Quick access Not only our input material store but also the tool store are organised in such a way that production changes cause only minimum downtimes. This also includes the maintenance of tools. 05 We're environment ally aw ar e ! That not only assures our Transfer presses Pressing force: 600 – 1500 kN • Max. number of stages: 21 • Max. drawn part height: 90 mm • Automatic punching machines Pressing force: 630 – 2500 kN Max. drawn part length: 45 mm • Max. table length: 2000 mm • • 06 quality claim but also permits economically viable production for us. Due to regular care, maintenance and investment, we have at our disposal modern machinery with which we can comply with the tight tolerances which we have promised to our customers. In order to be able to satisfy future requirements at our location, our management has arranged for the possibility of later extensions. We're in the lock! Pre- and after treatment The handling of the material in the deepdrawing process is a rather complicated matter. On the one hand, not only the material to be formed but also the tool itself must be protected by suitable lubricants in the process. On the other hand, the corresponding adherent substances must be completely removed from the finished part. In addition to all these requirements, there is also the environmental aspect. With the aid of modern deep-drawing oils and emulsions, our know-how and corresponding technology, we warrant that the parts are processed in a way which is gentle on the materials, that the parts are subsequently free from residues and, last but not least, that the environmental aspect is taken into account. Cap for locking cylinder Locking systems Materials The deep-drawn parts in our production are made of steel, high-grade steel and the most diverse non-ferrous alloys. Each material has specific properties which need to be taken into consideration in the forming process. The non-binding consulting in advance already creates those approaches to drawing technology solutions which customers can use during the development of their products. 07 We 're the in g e! frid Gas meter White metal goods Sensor sleeve S U R FA C E S Mechanical surfaces A wide selection of abrasives and polishing agents, utilised on differently designed installations, allow us to design the surface exactly according to the customers‘ wishes: bright polishing, tumbling polishing or vibratory grinding (deburring). 08 Electroplated surfaces Possible in barrel and frame goods according to DIN and customers‘ standards. Ni, Zn, ZnFe, ZnNi etc. External partners perform these tasks with the same quality claim on which our entire production is also based. All the measures are defined clearly, monitored and refined continuously. Internal audits are carried out regularly for this purpose. Documentation A comprehensive system for the collection of operating and process data was installed successfully. The obtained data is used in order to recognise any weak spots and to avoid any wastage of resources. QUALITY Quality management A basis principle of our company policy is the zero-defect strategy. Each employee acts according to the motto, „Avoiding defects before recognising defects“. Our quality management is certified 09 We're in Magnet housing Lambda probes the car !
