Sand and Sand Bags at the City’s Corporate Yard
If your property has a history of flooding, Oxnard residents and business owners can
obtain free sand and sand bags at the City of Oxnard Corporate Yard. Remember:
taking sand from the beach is illegal and can result in a fine.
Residents are encouraged to call 385-8343 to schedule an appointment to pick up sand
bags at the Corporate Yard. The City of Oxnard Corporate Yard is located at:

at (805) 385-8343 during regular business hours (Monday – Thursday and alternating
Fridays, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM). Please note that City offices are closed January 13, 16
(MLK), 27 and February 10, 20 (President’s Day), and 24. Please contact the Oxnard
Police Department Dispatch at (805) 385-7600 for access on closed Fridays, after hours
or weekends.
