Summary of main functions and purpose of job
The purpose of this role is to manage the entire Credit Control Function of NMCH, liaison between clients,
staff, management and debtors whilst maintaining a professional image and enforcing policies
Duties and Responsibilities
•
Direct supervision of all staff in the Credit Control department through appointed Supervisors
•
Ongoing effective team work within the Credit Control department
•
Ensure continuous control and adherence to budget guidelines and credit control targets on a daily
basis
•
Appropriate management and relationship with external clients and medical scheme
•
Mentoring and guiding of staff to attainment of appropriate goals
•
Reporting on working capital for the entire NMCH Operations
Qualifications and Experience
•
Grade 12 or equivalent qualification
•
A tertiary qualification in Finance or related qualification is a key requirement.
•
Candidates with 10 years’ experience in a similar role in a Hospital will get preference
•
Managerial experience is required
•
Previous working experience on SAP is advantageous
•
Computer literacy is essential.
