What is Total Lung Therapy? Total Lung Therapy is formulated to cleanse the respiratory tract and provide total support for the respiratory system. It is a powerful healing and therapeutic formula to aid people with chronic lung ailments (ex. Asthma) and is ideal for those who are simply looking to ensure optimal respiratory health. How is it delivered? Total Lung Therapy consists of powdered herbs and amino acids delivered in vegetable capsules. What does it do? Total Lung Therapy helps to expel mucus and other material from the lungs, bronchi, and trachea. It includes ingredients to soothe, heal, protect and strengthen the entire respiratory system. How does it work? Your lungs bring fresh oxygen into your body and remove carbon dioxide and other waste gases that your body doesn’t need. To get the oxygen your body needs, you inhale air through your mouth and nose. The mucous membranes in your mouth and nose warm and moisten the air, and trap particles of foreign matter (such as dirt, dust and pollution). The air passes through the throat into the trachea (windpipe). The trachea divides into the left and right bronchi. Like a branch, each bronchus divides again and again, becoming narrower and narrower. Your smallest airways end in the alveoli, small, thin air sacs that are arranged in clusters like bunches of balloons. When you breathe in by enlarging the chest cage, the “balloons” expand as air rushes in to fill the vacuum. When you breathe out, the “balloons” relax and air moves out of the lungs. Tiny blood vessels surround each of the 300 million alveoli in the lungs. Oxygen moves across the walls of the air sacs, is picked up by the blood and carried to the rest of the body. Carbon dioxide or waste gas from the blood passes into the air sacs and is released with each breath. Optimal lung function is vital for your body to receive the oxygen it needs and power your bodies every process. If the respiratory tract is not in good health, it can become sluggish and result in congestion and/or poor functioning. Total Lung Therapy has 3 major functions 1.It works to cleanse the respiratory system by expelling mucous from deep within the respiratory system. 2.It works to sooth and heal the tissue of the respiratory tract. 3.It protects and strengthens the respiratory system. Total Lung Therapy can be used by asthmatics and those with other lung ailments to help cleanse, protect, and heal damaged tissue in the respiratory tract. It can also be used by people who are healthy to proactively cleanse and protect their lungs and by smokers and ex-smokers who need extra lung support and cleansing. It is perfect for people who live in large cities where air pollution is an issue as a preventative way to reduce the negative effects of long term exposure. How do I take it? Take one capsule three times daily. Take with meals providing protein. Consult a health care practitioner for use beyond 6 months. What can I expect? Total Lung Therapy is designed to cleanse and heal the respiratory system, improve its function and provide antioxidant protection. You may experience the need to clear mucous more frequently during the first 14 days. This is normal and beneficial. You may experience that it is easier to breathe (take in oxygen) and feel positive health benefits from increased oxygenation of the body. If you have chronic conditions such as asthma you may notice improvement in symptoms and find it easier to take in breath. In all cases, Total Lung Therapy is providing healing and protection to the respiratory tract. This does not always show as physical improvements you can see if you are in good health as the benefit is internal. Support Products Ultimate FloraMAX 50 Billion is a 50 billion culture, 10 strain probiotic formula. Research has shown that probiotics may be useful for preventing respiratory infections. Recently, Canadian researchers published a systematic review to evaluate the evidence for probiotics to treat allergic rhinitis and asthma (Vliagoftis et al, 2008). The study author’s concluded that probiotics may be beneficial for allergic rhinitis in terms of both reducing symptoms and medication use. What does it contain?
