are specifically required for different degrees at the University of Glasgow. Please note
certain grades may also be required in the subjects stated.

Language or Literature.
Mathematics and Physics
Law
English (or GCSE English Lit & Lang)
Medicine
Chemistry and one of Biology (or Human
Biology), Mathematics or Physics.
General Studies & Critical Thinking not
accepted as third subjects.
Biology at AS level required if not studied at Alevel.
GCSE English
Nursing
Two from Biology (or Human Biology),
Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics.
GCSE Chemistry minimum.

Psychology
Subject requirements are determined by MA,
Ma (Soc Sci) or BSc degrees as stated in this
document.
However a minimum of GCSE Maths is also
required for all Psychology courses.
BSc Science degrees
Minimum of one relevant Science** subject.
(e.g. Biological and Life Sciences, Astronomy,
Chemistry, Computing Science, Earth Science,
Geography, Mathematics, Physics, Psychology,
Statistics, Veterinary Biosciences)
MA Social Sciences degrees
