2308 THE SASKATCHEWAN GAZETTE, october 31, 2014 The Global Transportation Hub Authority Act ________________________ Global Transportation Hub authority — taxation Bylaws The Taxation Bylaws of the Global Transportation Hub Authority are hereby enacted as follows: 1 Purpose The purpose of these Bylaws is to establish tax rates and impose taxes on: (a) all taxable property in the Global Transportation Hub sufficient to meet the estimated expenditures and transfers, having regard to estimated revenues from other sources, set out in the budget of the Global Transportation Hub Authority and the Library for 2014. 2.0 Authority The authority for these Bylaws is: (a) section 29, 30 and 31 of The Global Transportation Hub Authority Act; (b) section 26 and Division 7 of Part XI of The Cities Act; (c) sections 12, 13 and 15 of The Cities Regulations; and (d) section 22 of The Public Libraries Act, 1996. 3.0 Definitions In these Bylaw: “Agricultural” means all land and improvements in the agricultural property class prescribed pursuant to section 15 of The Cities Regulations; “City” means the City of Regina; “Commercial and Industrial” means all land and improvements in the Commercial and Industrial property class prescribed pursuant to section 15 of The Cities Regulations; “GTH” means The Global Transportation Hub; “GTHA” means The Global Transportation Hub Authority; “Library” means the Regina Public Library Board. 4.0 Mill Rates The following uniform rates shall be imposed on all taxable assessments in the GTH: (a) 13.442 mills per dollar for the GTH; and (b) 1.4967 per dollar for the Library. 5.0 Sub-Classes of Property The following sub-classes are established: (a) Commercial and Industrial.
