With Penang, Melaka and Johor’s choice location due to easy access to ports, airports

in both these regions vary according to local industries and location. The Iskandar

2009 will see an increase in hiring capable and well-rounded personnel who can handle
reception, administration and basic accounting responsibilities. The employment
outlook is positively affected by the consolidation of administrative support staffs due
to reasons like heavy reliance on technology and increment in office automation. There
has been a continued demand in talents like Secretaries, Office Coordinators and
Administrative Assistants who can handle diverse portfolios and be an active participant
in the company’s growth. In both these regions, there is an increasing trend in hiring
office support personnel on temporary basis due to uncertainty of the local and global

Although the transport and storage sub-sector expanded at a moderate pace of 6.1%
